Where is the Swimmin' Hole in the Yakima Valley?

There is a Yakima county park that is a hidden gem. Looking for fun in the water? The swimmin' hole? Eschbach park has it all!

Whether it is kayaking in the 2 acre pond or enjoying the natural running stream perfect for floating on a hot summer day, Eschbach Park is a geat way to cool off with water activities. One can rent inflatables as well as single or double kayaks. Enjoy a family picnic at one of the many picnic sites which include bbq pits. Basketball courts, horse shoe pits, volleyball areas, and softball fields are also available. On the weekend a concession stand is open which sells pop, ice cream, candy, picnic supplies and inflatables. For $3.00 per car, you and your family can picnic, swim and play all day. The park is open 9:30 AM-7:30 PM.

Traveling west on Highway 12, pass the 40th Avenue exit and take your next left from the highway. Turn right onto S. Naches Road and travel approximately 5 miles to the park.
